A 1940s cottage taken back to the studs and rebuilt, with a new covered front porch and fresh landscaping.
The original bathroom was dated and short on usable space. Rebuilding it as a single wet room put the freestanding tub and the walk-in rain shower behind one glass screen, which made the whole room feel considerably larger.
Deep green vertical tile wraps the wet area and carries the scheme. A walnut double vanity with a marble top adds the storage that was missing, and brass fixtures, a heated towel rail and a white mosaic floor finish it off.
