A 1940s cottage taken back to the studs and rebuilt, with a new covered front porch and fresh landscaping.
Older homes in the Triangle reward a careful approach, and this renovation was planned around what was worth keeping. The layout was opened up inside, while outside the house was reclad and the covered porch rebuilt.
New flooring, trim, lighting and paint were coordinated across the whole house so the modernised rooms sit comfortably alongside the parts that stayed.
